MEET SAUL
I started my journey with dogs in 2020, when I co-founded a non-profit animal rescue with my partner. We rescued all types of dogs with a focus on those being listed for euthanasia at local shelters. Most of those dogs were placed on the list as a result of their behavioral issues. As a result, I learned to advocate for these dogs and understand them behaviorally. I met a couple incredible mentors who showed me how to rehabilitate these dogs in order to find them their forever home. Folks started coming to me with dog training questions long before I was trainer! In 2022, I made it official and launched Ravenous K9! I still work heavily with animal rescues and continue to foster rescue dogs but have pivoted my focus to helping owners understand their own pups. My goal is to help you understand your dog's needs and give them a more fulfilled life that is stress-free for the both of you! I truly value my work and do not take your decision to trust me with your pup lightly.

I own two dogs of my own: I adopted my Pitbull/Shepherd mix, Brodie, from my animal rescue, and I rescued my Belgian Malinois, Zara, from an abusive home. A lot of the time, you will also see my partner's German Shepherd, Ellie, in my videos as well!

At Ravenous Canine, our mission is to create harmonious relationships between dogs and their owners through balanced training. We are committed to ensuring strengthened communication between you and your pup and understanding each dog's unique personality to address behavioral issues. There is no one size fits all approach for dog training, and we are here to make sure we find and implement what works best for your pup.
BOARDING ENVIRONMENT
We curate a boarding environment where every pup feels at home, receives individual attention, and engages in stimulating activities. Our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, and fun-filled space for dogs to thrive while their owners are away. We provide structured boarding for all dogs, and we provide the option of added training should you like your pup to have certain behaviors worked on while you are away!
